Constructed of high-impact triple-chrome plated ABS polymer,
our Chrome Grill Inserts give your vehicle a sharp chrome appearance for many
years.
Unlike the "Billet Aluminum" products which need regular
polishing to retain their shine,
these Chrome ABS products stay bright for
years.
Easy snap-in Grill installation:
Our PT Cruiser Grill Insert sets include two sections, an upper and a lower.
THE UPPER SECTION FITS ALL YEAR MODELS 01-05 just fine.
Line them up and push to engage the retainer tabs. Easy to install.
The lower grill section fits 01-04 and earlier year models very well, and fits
SOME 05's.
Easy install, but you are on your knees to work under the bumper for 2 or 3
minutes.
In the 2005s, we have found MOST of the LOWER grills are the
same as earlier year models, and our grill inserts install easily on them.
However, SOME 2005s have a different configuration of the lower grill, and our
lower chrome grill inserts do not fit them, as you can determine from these
pictures.
Note in the above picture of our lower chrome grill insert section, there are 3 horizontal bars and 5 vertical bars. Only 3 vertical bars extend below the lowest horizontal bar. Our inserts fit all PT Cruisers with this configuration.

Some of the 2005 PT Cruisers are coming in this configuration shown at
left. You can see that all 5 of the vertical bars extend below the lowest horizontal bar. Our inserts do not fit these lower grills. But our upper grill insert sections DO fit the upper sections of these same vehicles. |
