If you are having a problem fitting hubcaps to your wheels, it can be one of several problems.

Most problems relate to interference in the center area of the wheel, resulting from:

1. Long lug nuts. If your lug nuts are SLIGHTLY longer than the studs they are screwed onto, the hubcaps on this page will fit just fine. But if your lug nuts are extra-long, fancy, colored, or locking aftermarket products, such as those pictured below, it is likely that NO standard hubcaps will fit over them. For maximum clearance of tall lug nuts, you may want match the number of hubcap lugs to your wheel lugs, so you can align the long lug nuts into the spaces on the back of the hubcap.

2. Raised Ring of the steel wheel itself, just outside the lug nut circle, which  may be taller than normal.

           To test for this, place a straight edge across the wheel as pictured below.

3. Tall center hub, grease cap or castle nut. See Pictures Below.

This picture below shows a straight edge across the wheel from Edge to Edge. It should not rest on tire rubber at either end, it should rest on the outer lip of the wheel, where the yellow arrow points on the right side. There should be no contact with the straight edge by either the lug nuts nor the raised ring around the lug nuts, marked with the red arrows. If your wheels have parts projecting past this line, then you should measure how far past and call us.   If your center hub (center nut, grease caps, bearing buddies, or grease nipple) extends past the plane of  the edge of the steel wheel, as shown in the pictures below. Accurately Measure how far past and Call us for proper fitting.

This picture shows a wheels where the raised ring around the lug nuts holds the straight edge about 1/4"  past the edge of the wheel (red Mark by the ruler).

Photo below shows a VW Van wheel with projecting center hub. We need to know how far your hub projects past a line across the rim of the steel wheel

Examples of Tall, Fancy and Locking Lugnuts that may be too tall for hubcaps to mount over.
